Thank you for your email which has been brought to the Minister’s attention.
Minister Patrick O’Donovan is agreeable to a meeting with a representation from your organisation ( Save our Shannon Group) on Tuesday next 15th December 2020 at 11:45am in Athlone, details below.
Please note that as each of the local Oireachtas members have made representations on your behalf they will be informed of this meeting once agreed and this is normal procedure. The meeting is specifically for the Save our Shannon Group and will be attended by the Minister and senior Officials from OPW.

Location: OPW Compound, adjacent to Burgess Park, Goldenisland, Athlone, Co Westmeath
Minister welcomes the opportunity to meet a maximum of 3 representatives of your organisation outdoors at the above location. Please confirm the names of those who will be attending.
If this is not acceptable to your group it would be possible to arrange an online meeting where a larger number of representatives could be accommodated to discuss the specific issues of the Save our Shannon Group.
